There comes a time when you reach home all tired and stressed. It's because you might have a hard day at work and now you're unable to make a move. In this case I can give you five effective ways that you can employ to reduce your stress. 1. Just lay down and do nothing! First of all lay down and try to relax your mind. Try to breathe long and not think about anything at all! 2. Put your feet in warm water After restoring your soul for sometime, take out a tub and add some warm water to it and put your feet in it. This will help you relax your body muscles and you'll feel relief. 3. Drink a cup of coffee/tea Sometimes a simple cup of tea or coffee proves to be so much effective and helps you to release your body fatigue and calm your soul. Muaaz is an amazing guitarist who graduated from Comsats Lahore as a Sofware Engineer. It was good to interview and get to know about his musical life and journey.1. What’s the name of your band? How many people are in your band?
I’m a session player. Currently playing with different underground bands and Nescafébasement’s artists as a bassist.
2. When did you first pick up the guitar and when did you decide to be a rock star?
I was in 6th standard when my elder brother first brought a guitar which had only 3 strings. It was just a decoration piece for us. But after 2 years , when I was in 8th standard. I learnt it with full passion and started my journey form very basic level.
3. Do you have any people from music industry that you admire?
Yes, I admire Ali Azmat, Noori the band, Sajjad Ali, Asrar , Atif aslam etc.,
4. What music gets you excited and why?
Sufi rock is really exciting for me. Because it has spiritual feel with rock nodes. It’s just unexplainable for me . Sufi rock is just out of this world for me .
5. What are your hobbies? How do you spend your free time?
I spend free time mostly alone like, having a cup of coffee or walking on road or play guitar or just sit in park and enjoy the weather .
6. How many performances you have done so far? Which one was your best?
Aaamm... I don’t remember how many performances I have done so far but the best one was in comsats back in 2015. It was one of the best gig ever.
7. Any words for those who wants to begin as guitarists?
Be passionate, don’t stop if you feel tired . Take a break , and start again. Nothing is impossible .
8. Which songs do you perform most frequently?
It depends on situation and crowd. Mostly I prefer Pakistani songs for performance.
