There comes a time when you reach home all tired and stressed. It's because you might have a hard day at work and now you're unable to make a move. In this case I can give you five effective ways that you can employ to reduce your stress. 1. Just lay down and do nothing! First of all lay down and try to relax your mind. Try to breathe long and not think about anything at all! 2. Put your feet in warm water After restoring your soul for sometime, take out a tub and add some warm water to it and put your feet in it. This will help you relax your body muscles and you'll feel relief. 3. Drink a cup of coffee/tea Sometimes a simple cup of tea or coffee proves to be so much effective and helps you to release your body fatigue and calm your soul. There are a lot of girls all around the world who wear the hijab in unique yet elegant styles and colors. The life of a hijabi is itself a challenge either practically or personally.
Practical Struggles!
Here are some common practical struggles that every hijabi faces.
When we talk about hijab, the one thing that automatically comes to our mind is pins, whether they are your safety pins or colorful pins, finding them at the time you are leaving the house is no less than a challenge.
Likewise storing them in a particular place is also a daunting task.
Getting stabbed by pins in your head is a common now :D
Wearing beautiful earrings and not being able to show them!
Running away as fast as you can, when a non-mahram comes into the room and you are not wearing your hijab!
Being looked at with pity, when it comes to going out with friends.
And the most awkward moment when you pass by a mirror and your whole world is shattered when you see your messed up hijab!
Personal Struggles of a Hijabi!
Well, in spite of these practical struggles, there are some personal sufferings in the life a hijabi!
To the best of our knowledge, the hijab is considered a religious obligation in Pakistan. There are some things that this generation has totally messed up. I remember as a little kid, my father used to quote if you don't cover your head, you'll take four men to Jahannam; your father, brother, husband, son. So that was the reason I started doing hijab and covering my head.
It was all good, un till I joined the professional life where you have to look modern and when I say the word modern, the definition automatically exclude my hijab in that. I do not understand that how covering yourself make you less modern?
People automatically assume you an Islamic Scholar who is not into parties and fun, which is absolutely not true.
If you wear a hijab at the office, they'll think that you are a person with a traditional mindset, which is not so true. The truth is that we have been to parties, more than they have been to. It's just the mentality that they need to be improvised.
In short, these are some struggles that a hijabi face every day. But to all those who wear hijab, you'll be rewarded by Allah!
